Crème Brûlée for Cancer

In partnership with the Minnesota Swarm's efforts with the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund, Cork's will be donating 100% of the proceeds from sales of our Crème Brûlée dessert to the fund for the entire month of April.

The Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund is in its eighth year of funding cancer-oriented and community projects within Minnesota. Their mission stands, "To support research, prevention, treatment and other needs of the cancer community throughout the State of Minnesota."

Randy Shaver, the Sports Director at KARE-11 started his foray into charitable fundraising with the annual Celebrity Golf Classic event in 1995. Then, after being diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin's Disease three years later, Shaver decided to take his fight to the next level. Now in remission, he works diligently to ensure that the fund remains an efficient steward of charitable resources in the fight against cancer. Boasting an administrative margin of less than 10%, over 90% of monies donated go directly to Minnesota's cancer community.

This month, we hope you'll join us in the fight against cancer by saving room for dessert!
