Go Green or Go Home!

Man oh man, we're still reveling in how fun last Saturday night was! Go Green at the Hive was nothing short of amazing! Not only did our lucky leprechaun hang out in all his logo glory on the big screen during the game,  but he was also representing while the Junior Swarm Performance Team did their thing! 

 

Pretty cool, right? 

We even got to provide the seat stuffer from the big game, and can't wait to see all those awesome Swarm fans at Cork's! 

While last Saturday was great, we can't dwell on the past forever! We're moving on at full steam for our upcoming events! 

This Sunday (February 27), Cork's will host the NLL All-Star Game Viewing Party. Come cheer on all FOUR Minnesota Swarm players that will be duking it out in an East vs. West All-Star battle royale.

The party runs from 1pm to 4pm, and we'll be running Happy Hour specials for your enjoyment. Make sure you get here early to snag a good seat. 

This is a family-friendly event, so feel free to bring the kids. Our menu includes all of the traditional kid-approved staples!

Go Green at the Hive

The big Minnesota Swarm Go Green at the Hive game is tomorrow night. Cork's is super excited to be part of such a great event!

The Swarm will be taking on the Boston Blazers while promoting eco-friendly initiatives and celebrating the wonderful Irish heritage of St. Paul.

For tomorrow's game, the Swarm actually partnered with the Xcel Energy Center to purchase wind energy,  offsetting the electricity that will be used. Utilizing Xcel Energy’s Windsource® program, the Swarm was able to cover 100% of the energy required to host the game! Additionally, the Swarm will be selling special 'Green Tickets' for the game. One dollar from the sale of each ticket will go to support further "green" initiatives of the Minnesota Swarm.

The Buzz Continues

As Cork's and the Minnesota Swarm continue to take St. Paul by storm, we wanted to keep you in the loop! You'll surely want to take part in some of the great events coming up next week!

February 16th - PUB STING! Hang out at Cork's and pal it up with your Minnesota Swarm. Select members of the Swarm and the Swarm Performance Team will swing by Cork's on Thursday, February 16th. This is essentially a pub crawl, so we're not able to pin down the exact time they'll show. (That doesn't mean you won't enjoy yourself waiting with a pint of your favorite brew and some Scotch Eggs, though).

February 18th - OMELET STING! Cork's and the Swarm are taking over another local apartment complex. This time, we're invading the lobby of The Cosmopolitan. Residents of The Cosmopolitan, be ready! Enjoy a cooked-to-order omelet, meet Swarm players and members of the Swarm Performance Team, and get excited about their home game against the Boston Blazers the following evening.

February 19th - GO GREEN GAME! Go Green Night at the Hive! The Swarm will go head to head against the Boston Blazers in an all out battle. In addition to the game, the evening will feature Irish and eco-friendly themed events, merchandise, and in-game promotions. The Junior Swarm Performance Team will also be entertaining fans with their annual half-time performance extravaganza! Plus, as part of our partnership, Cork's gets to provide the seat stuffers! Super Bowl XLV, Baby!

We can't really think about the Super Bowl without:
a) Getting really excited, and
b) Humming the dun, dun, dun, dun, da...NFL theme song!
